Jenay first fell in love with photography in her high school dark room. Also a fan of the moving image and cinema, she picked u a Nikon in 1997 and became instantly transfixed by the click.

 

 She attended Hofstra University in New York, where she graduated with a BA in Film Studies and Photography.

Through her twenties and thirties she focused on yoga and movement photography as well as travel and portraiture. She has been published in Yoga Journal and Mantra Magazine.

Jenay's talent resides in her ability in first to create a vision and then ground within the moment to capture unexpected images bringing forth the raw beauty and inherent light with each of her subjects. Sunflares, and silhouettes will always leave her speechless. Contrast and electric colors feed her soul. She currently resides in West Sonoma county in Northern California with her wife and her two daughters.
